ABBA (アバ)・・・スウェーデンの4人組グループ。

スウェーデンが生んだ世界的スーパー・グループ。
「ダンシング・クイーン」、「マンマ・ミーア」、「SOS」、「チキチータ」など、日本でも知られている曲が多く、70年代に世界中で大ヒットを連発した。
活動を停止してから約10年後、1992年に発売した『ABBA Gold: Greatest Hits』は現在までに約2800万以上という驚異的なセールスを記録。
また、2008年にはABBAの曲をベースに製作された映画『マンマ・ミーア！』が世界中で大ヒットするなど、活動停止後もABBAが残した数々の名曲は人々を魅了してやまない。
