| Donna Summer (ドナ・サマー)・・・アメリカの女性シンガー、ソングライター。 『Queen of Disco ディスコの女王』として知られ、絶大な人気を誇った。 「Hot Stuff」、「Bad Girls」、「Last Dance」など、70年代～80年代初頭にかけて数々のヒット曲を誕生させるなど、ディスコ時代最大のスターとして活躍。 後のポップ・ミュージック・シーン全体に影響を与えた人物でもある。 おそらく、「Hot Stuff」は日本人でも耳にしたことのある人が多いはずだ。 グラミー受賞回数5回、総セールスは約1億3000万以上ともいわれている。 2012年5月17日に亡くなった。 |
